GloSATref.1.0.0.0 (Pre-Release) Data Download

GloSATref is a gridded dataset of global historical surface air temperature anomalies relative to a 1961-1990 reference period from 1781-2021.

A journal paper describing the GloSATref data set is currently under peer review. The data set provided on this page is a pre-release version of the GloSATref data set, made available to reviewers via the download page.

Downloads are split into three sections: the spatially infilled GloSATref analysis, the non-infilled GloSATref data set and the GloSATLAT land surface air temperature data.

GloSATLAT.1.0.0.0 (Pre-Release) Land Surface Air Temperature Data

The GloSATLAT.1.0.0.0 is a gridded data set of land surface air temperature anomalies. It is based on an extended version of the CRUTEM5 data set with additional station data, bias adjustments for non-standard thermometer shelters in the early instrumental record, and extended station normal estimates.
