Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Friday 25 Aug 2017 to Sunday 3 Sep 2017:

Friday and the subsequent bank holiday weekend will stay changeable, with heavy showers or longer spells of rain, particularly in the north and west. However, parts of the south and east may stay mainly dry with some sunny spells. Temperatures will be around normal in most parts, but probably above average in the southeast, bringing a chance of a few thundery showers. It will be windy at times, especially in the north, with a risk of gales here. Into the following week, there remains a lot of uncertainty, although we may continue to see spells of wet and windy weather, particularly in the northwest, with drier spells, mainly in the south. Temperatures will probably be near normal, though perhaps rather warm at times in the south.

UK Outlook for Monday 4 Sep 2017 to Monday 18 Sep 2017:

In the first half of September, we are most likely to see changeable weather conditions featuring across the United Kingdom. However, there will be some dry and fine weather at times too. On balance spells of rain and strong winds are likely to dominate in the north and west, with drier and brighter weather more common in the south and east. Temperatures will probably remain close to normal for the time of year in most parts, though they may become warm or very warm at times in the south.
