UK forecast for the next 5 days

Headline:

Patchy frost in the east tonight. Rain arriving elsewhere.

This Evening and Tonight:

It will become generally dry this evening. Many northern and most eastern areas will then have a dry night with clear spells, allowing a patchy frost to form. Elsewhere, it will cloud over from the west with further rain arriving.

Monday:

Outbreaks of rain will move eastwards across Britain. However, eastern Scotland and the extreme east of England may start bright, while brighter weather will follow to most parts later.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Southern areas will be cloudy with some rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, with brighter, showery weather further north. Rain may move north on Thursday, revealing some slightly warmer sunshine elsewhere.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Friday 27 Oct 2017 to Sunday 5 Nov 2017:

On Friday, cloud and rain across central or northern parts will move southeastwards, probably clearing southeast England later, or early on Saturday, after a mostly fine start here. Brighter, showery weather will follow from the northwest, although another band of rain may move eastwards across Britain on Saturday. It will be breezy, with gales possible in the north, and temperatures will return towards average after a warm start in the south. Thereafter the weather is likely to become generally unsettled and sometimes windy, with rainbands crossing eastwards over the country, interspersed by brighter, showery conditions. The northwest can expect the wettest and windiest weather. However, there is a low chance of drier, more settled weather developing from the west later. Temperatures will trend down to slightly below normal.

UK Outlook for Monday 6 Nov 2017 to Monday 20 Nov 2017:

There is an increasing chance that the weather will become more settled during this period, especially across southern parts of the British Isles. As a result frost and fog could become more likely. The north may continue to have more changeable conditions though. Temperatures are most likely to be near average, although probably below normal in some of the more settled spells, especially where any overnight fog proves slow to clear.
