    Cloudy. Mainly dry morning then a little rain this afternoon.


    Mostly dry and cloudy this morning, just the odd light shower. Patchy light rain reaching western counties later this morning, edging eastwards this afternoon, dying out this evening. Maximum Temperature 17 °C.


    It will be cloudy and mainly dry although rather damp and misty in places. Also mild overnight with strengthening westerly winds. Minimum Temperature 12 °C.


    Mostly cloudy with a little light rain at times, mainly in north and west. Drier with brighter interludes developing along the Down coast. Fresh westerly winds, strong on North Coast. Maximum Temperature 17 °C.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    A rather cloudy few days with a little rain at times, much of it towards North Coast. Becoming brighter on Saturday with some sunshine.

    Mostly fine in the south. Becoming wetter in the northwest.


    Cloudy start for western and northern areas with some light rain, mainly north Wales northwards. Cloud breaking up for many in the south by day but staying cloudy in the northwest. Best of the sunshine in the southeast.


    Clear spells for south and southeast areas. Cloudier further north with some rain developing, mainly northern England northwards and particularly northwest Scotland where heavy and persistent. Becoming windier here.


    Fine dry in central and southern parts and becoming warmer. Cloudier in the north with some rain, most persistent in the northwest. Breezy in the north.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Southern, and often eastern areas fine with sunny periods; becoming warm from Friday. Remaining cloudier and breezier in the northwest with rain at times. Southern regions potentially very warm Saturday.

    UK Outlook for Saturday 9 Jul 2022 to Monday 18 Jul 2022:

    Generally fine and dry for southern and eastern parts of the UK to start, as high pressure extends to the southwest, though some showers are still possible. Cloud increases further northwest, with more showers and outbreaks of rain. Warm or very warm with light winds in the south, near-normal temperatures elsewhere, and moderate or fresh winds in the far north. It may become more widely settled across the UK for a time further into the period, although some northern areas likely to continue to see spells of rain or showers at times. Temperatures widely above average, especially across the south, with a possibility of very warm or hot spells at times for England and Wales.

    UK Outlook for Tuesday 19 Jul 2022 to Tuesday 2 Aug 2022:

    Higher pressure is likely to continue bringing generally fine and settled weather throughout the rest of July, which may extend more widely across the UK. However, we may see some less settled weather for a time at the start of this period, with northern areas likely to continue seeing showers, these extending further south at times. We may see some very warm or hot conditions at times, most likely for England and Wales. Temperatures perhaps returning closer to normal across the north and northwest later in the period.
