    Bright or sunny spells and some heavy and blustery showers throughout the day. Some of the showers will be mixed with hail, and they will be most frequent across Cornwall and Devon. Feeling cold in the strong and gusty wind. Maximum Temperature 9 °C.

    Tonight:

    Showers this evening will fade away then it will be dry and clear for a time. Scattered showers return towards dawn, these possibly wintry over the highest parts of Dartmoor. Minimum Temperature -1 °C.

    Thursday:

    Scattered showers at first on Thursday morning will become lighter and more isolated by midday. Clouding over from the west in the afternoon, with rain arriving for the evening. Maximum Temperature 6 °C.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Overnight rain clears before dawn Friday leaving a largely dry and bright day. Further rain Friday evening, then unsettled with a risk of gales Saturday. Sunshine and showers on Sunday.

    Today:

    Overnight rain soon clearing, then most parts seeing occasional sunshine but also areas of cloud and blustery showers, some of these heavy. Colder than Tuesday, showers turning wintry in the north. Windy, with gales mainly in some coastal fringes.

    Tonight:

    Many inland areas clearer and frosty for a time. Northern parts of Scotland seeing some snowfall and ice. Patchy rain and snow may affect some western and then southern areas.

    Thursday:

    Many areas seeing plenty of chilly sunshine. Snow and hail showers in northern Scotland easing, but wintry showers fringing eastern coastal counties. Northwest UK seeing rain and hill snow later.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain. Some snow at times in the north, mainly over hills. Often windy, particularly in the southwest on Saturday. Rather cold.

    Rain and strong winds likely to clear Sunday morning from southeastern areas, with a mixture of sunny spells and showers elsewhere. Showers mainly confined to coastal districts with inland areas likely to remain largely dry. Rather cold with overnight frost and icy patches possible. For the rest of the period, unsettled weather dominates with spells of wet and windy weather, interspersed by interludes of sunshine and showers. More prolonged spells of rain are possible, heavy at times. Initially these more likely across the south and west, although the greatest risk probably transfers north through the period, which could then see rain turning wintry at times. Generally cold, with milder interludes briefly in the south. Overnight frost and icy patches likely throughout..

    Remaining generally unsettled at first, with wettest and windiest conditions likely moving further north with drier and brighter spells developing in the south and southeast at times. Temperatures likely to be milder than earlier in the month, with temperatures near to above normal, although some colder spells remain possible. It is likely to become more settled around Christmas and towards New Year with increased chance of overnight frost and fog during clearer spells.
