    Daytime showers will fade this evening to leave a largely dry night, with clear spells. It will turn chilly in some rural spots, mainly in the east. However, cloud and rain will arrive into far southwest of Cornwall by dawn. Minimum Temperature 9 °C.


    Cloud and rain will spread northwards across all parts during the morning to give a dull, wet and cool afternoon. It'll turn warmer and humid in the far southwest later. Maximum Temperature 17 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Wet and windy weather gradually clearing on Sunday, then dry and sunny on Monday and Tuesday with light winds and a risk of patchy fog forming on Monday night.

    Showers will become largely confined to north and west Scotland, with winds easing away from the far north. Otherwise dry and chilly with clear spells developing for many. Cloud and rain will arrive into southwest England by dawn.


    A fine, chilly start for many but rain will push steadily northeastwards across much of England and Wales. Drier and brighter elsewhere but with scattered showers in northern Scotland.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Wet and windy across England and Wales Sunday, probably drier further north. Dry with sunny spells Monday and Tuesday, with light winds. Chilly nights. Some showers in the far north.

    UK Outlook for Wednesday 26 Sep 2018 to Friday 5 Oct 2018:

    For most of the UK, the weather should remain largely settled through the rest of September. Most places will have long sunny spells and generally light winds. However, some mist and fog patches will form during the nights. The north and northwest will be at risk of turning a little more changeable at times next week, with some rain and strong winds possible. However it looks to stay drier and brighter in the south and east. Days will be warm for many, at least at first, but nights will be chilly with some localised frost. Into the start of October many parts are set to remain mostly settled, though some wet and windy weather is possible in the north.

    UK Outlook for Saturday 6 Oct 2018 to Saturday 20 Oct 2018:

    Settled conditions are expected to dominate across much of the UK through the beginning of this period, especially in the south. There should be a good deal of dry and bright weather with any wet and windy spells likely to be confined to the north of the UK. Increasingly long nights will lead to a greater risk of patches of fog forming overnight and some places may also see some frost. Despite chilly nights, any sunshine by day will give a mild feel for October. Later on in October, there is considerable uncertainty in the forecast, with a chance that some more unsettled weather may affect the UK.
