    A generally dry and bright morning with occasional sunny periods. Remaining dry for most of the afternoon but becoming gradually cloudier. Feeling warm but becoming breezier later. Maximum Temperature 25 °C.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Mostly dry on Friday and Saturday with warm sunny spells but also a few isolated showers. Possibly turning cloudier on Sunday with a chance of some rain. Breezy at times.

    Thunderstorms in the southeast slowly dying out. Most parts dry with clear spells, turning chilly in places. Cloud and rain reaching the far northwest later.

    Thursday:

    A few showers in the far southeast, else much of England dry with sunny spells, and warm in the southeast. Rain in the northwest moving slowly eastwards.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Periods of wind and rain, heaviest in the west, at times throughout this period. Showers, locally heavy across the north on Saturday. Near average temperatures at first, warm (humid) Monday.

    UK Outlook for Sunday 21 Aug 2022 to Tuesday 30 Aug 2022:

    Showers remaining in the north on Sunday, but more general rain starting to move in from the west. Heavy bursts likely at times. Eastern areas may remain dry until late Sunday evening, western upslopes seeing the most of any persistent heavy rain. Winds generally light but becoming stronger with the arrival of rain, with a chance of coastal gales. Through this period, frontal systems likely to bring widespread rainfall. Rain across central and southern regions initially, could become more widespread to affect all parts for a time before becoming more settled. Fine and dry conditions prevail for many areas. With winds light and plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures can be expected for this period, generally rising, feeling humid at times.
