Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Saturday 1 Oct 2022 to Monday 10 Oct 2022:

We are likely to see an unsettled start to October with low pressure to the north of the UK. This would bring a mixture of sunny spells and showers or longer periods of rain. Showers are likely to be heaviest and most frequent across the north and whilst southern and eastern areas are likely to see some rain at times, these areas likely seeing the best of the drier conditions. Widely windy with a risk of gales at times, most probably across the north and northwest. We may then see a shift towards more settled weather later on in the period with drier conditions becoming more prevalent, especially in the south. Temperatures likely to be close to average throughout or maybe slightly above average by the end of the period.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 11 Oct 2022 to Tuesday 25 Oct 2022:

Confidence is low through this period, but the most likely scenario is for drier and more settled conditions. Some periods of wetter weather remain likely, these most probable in the northwest, but also possibly spreading further south at times. Temperatures most likely to be near normal or slightly above normal.
