Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Monday 16 May 2022 to Wednesday 25 May 2022:

Early in the week any showers in the far south and southeast are likely to quickly clear leaving most places fine and dry with sunny periods. Thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain are likely to spread to some northwestern areas later, with some breezier conditions in the west. Into the middle and end of the week there is likely going to be a southeast-northwest split, with the southeast experiencing generally drier, more settled weather. The northwest, however, will likely see some cloudier weather and showery rain, possibly heavy and thundery at times. Over the weekend and the beginning of the following week the more unsettled weather may spread further east. Widely warm or very warm throughout, perhaps hot in the south and southeast earlier in the period.

UK Outlook for Thursday 26 May 2022 to Thursday 9 Jun 2022:

Rather changeable at the start of the period, with spells of rain or showers for many areas, some of these heavy and thundery. A change in weather is likely as we move from May into June, with a shift towards more settled, drier conditions. Showers still remain a possibility in some places, but a drier end to the period is likely for most. We can expect temperatures to continue to be warm or very warm, but likely to move back to nearer normal through June.
