UK forecast for the next 5 days

Early fog slowly clearing, then dry and bright for many.

Morning fog will slowly clear to leave bright day with sunny spells. However, a band of cloud and rain will move across Northern Ireland and western Scotland, reaching the far west of England and Wales by the afternoon. Feeling springlike.

Rain in the west will ease this evening. Dry overnight, with some low cloud, mist and fog, particularly across England and Wales. Chilly, with a touch of frost in places.

Low cloud and fog clearing during the morning. Plenty of hazy sunshine, though thicker cloud and patchy rain in the far northwest later. Feeling pleasant for most areas.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Settled and generally dry with sunny spells by day, although some overnight frost and fog is likely. Often windier and changeable in the far northwest. Mostly very mild.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 27 Feb 2019 to Friday 8 Mar 2019:

Wednesday and Thursday may start with some patchy fog and cloud, but for most it will be largely fine and mild later on with some sunny spells. However, in northwest Scotland it will be a different picture, with cloudier skies and some rain coming through at times. Temperatures will stay on the mild side for the time of year, though overnight frosts are still possible. By early March we are likely to see much more unsettled conditions as weather fronts bring stronger winds, gales and rain at times to all parts of the UK. It will also be a little colder than recently, with snow over some of the hills and mountains in the north.

UK Outlook for Saturday 9 Mar 2019 to Saturday 23 Mar 2019:

The weather looks to be fairly unsettled through this period, with a mixture of wet and windy weather for many parts, but also with some drier spells from time to time. The heaviest of the rain is likely to be in the northwest. Snow remains possible over the hills and mountains in the north, but it is less likely anywhere else. Milder conditions remain more likely, perhaps with occasional colder spells which could bring overnight frosts. The best chance of dry and sunny weather will be in the south and east.
