Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days
UK Outlook for Friday 8 Jul 2022 to Sunday 17 Jul 2022:
High pressure builds from the southwest on Friday, which will come to define this period. Southern and eastern parts can expect the best of any fine and dry weather, light winds, and very warm temperatures. Cloud increases further northwest, with pulses of drizzle or light rain, mostly confined to high ground. However, some heavier outbreaks can't be ruled out in the far northwest, with moderate or fresh winds in the far north, and near normal temperatures. Into next week, far northern parts will fringe the high pressure which begins to centre over the UK, seeing more changeable weather: frequent cloud, showers, and possibly longer spells of rain. Beneath the high, a more settled regime persists, though showers are possible. Temperatures near or above average, to hot in the south.

UK Outlook for Monday 18 Jul 2022 to Monday 1 Aug 2022:
Higher pressure is likely to continue bringing generally fine and settled weather throughout the rest of July, which may extend more widely across the UK. However, we may see some less settled weather for a time at the start of this period, with northern areas likely to continue seeing showers, these extending further south at times. Temperatures will be near or above normal, becoming warmer throughout July. We may see some very warm or hot temperatures, especially across the south.
