UK forecast for the next 5 days

Plenty of warm and sunny weather to come for most.

It will be a sunny and warm day for most with light winds, although the sunshine may be hazy at times due to some high cloud. The far north of Scotland will be cloudier and breezier with a little rain.

Apart from a little further rain in the far north, most likely Shetland, it is going to stay fine overnight. Under clear skies it will turn cool by dawn.

Another fine day and feeling very warm in the summer sunshine. Again it will be cloudier, breezier and fresher in the far north, where a little rain is still possible.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Staying sunny and becoming hotter. Whilst the far north will still be cloudy to start the week, the sunshine should reach here by Wednesday. Nights will also become increasingly warm.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Thursday 28 Jun 2018 to Saturday 7 Jul 2018:

The final few days of June will stay dry and sunny across the UK, with only the far north and northwest of Scotland seeing cloudier skies at times, and a chance of rain. Temperatures will continue to rise for all parts, but especially so across England and Wales where it will be hot. The heat may spark an isolated thunderstorm towards next weekend, but the chance of catching one will be low and the majority of the UK will stay fine and dry. As we head into the start of July, most areas should continue to see plenty of fine, sunny and very warm weather. Northern and western areas may however begin to see cloudier conditions pushing in, with the chance of some wet and windy weather here.

UK Outlook for Sunday 8 Jul 2018 to Sunday 22 Jul 2018:

It is too early to give any specific detail for July, but the likelihood is that we will see a good deal of dry and settled weather across many parts of the UK. There are some early indications that in the north and west, more changeable conditions could bring cloudier skies, and possibly some wet and windy weather at times. There is also the chance that the warm weather could lead to a few thunderstorms in the south of the UK, but on the whole it will be a mainly dry and warm picture.
