    Sunny spells and scattered showers today.


    Any mist or fog patches will quickly clear in the morning to bring sunny spells. Scattered showers will develop through the day, but there will be plenty of sunny spells in between. Feeling a little less cold than of late. Maximum Temperature 17 °C.


    Showers will fade away this evening to leave a dry and chilly night with clear skies at first. Cloud will increase towards the end of the night. Minimum Temperature 6 °C.


    A cloudy and dry start to the day. Heavy rain will quickly spread in during the morning with blustery winds and a risk of coastal gales. Maximum Temperature 15 °C.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Sunshine and blustery showers on Saturday. Largely dry and cloudy on Sunday and Monday, but some bright spells are likely at times. Winds easing.

    Cloud and outbreaks of rain across central and southwestern areas clearing away to the south through the morning. Else, another day of sunny spells, but again scattered showers developing.


    Showers soon fading, then turning chilly across England and Wales with patchy fog developing. Becoming wet and windy in the far north later, with severe gales in the far northwest.


    Dry and bright across central and southern parts at first, but wet and windy weather sweeping east through the day. Sunny intervals and showers following into north and west later.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Blustery showers this weekend, most frequent and heavy in the northwest. Some rain possibly for a time in the far south. More rain and wind into the north on Monday

    UK Outlook for Monday 3 Oct 2022 to Wednesday 12 Oct 2022:

    A mixture of sunny spells and showers or longer periods of rain is expected at the start of October. A northwest/southeast split in weather conditions is likely through the first half of next week, with cloud and occasionally heavy rain in the northwest, and drier conditions in the southeast. Winds generally light, but likely stronger in the northwest. Later in the period, we may see a shift towards drier and more settled weather. Some spells of wetter weather remain likely at times; these are most probable in the northwest but could possibly spread to other areas too. Temperatures likely to be close to average throughout or perhaps slightly above average by the end of the period.
