    A showery day, misty around the east coast.

    Today:

    A cloudy morning with some heavy showery rain for a time. Then brightening from late morning although staying quite misty around the Aberdeenshire coast. Further heavy showers forming, thunder possible. East coast mist clearing to sunshine later. Maximum Temperature 20 °C.

    Tonight:

    Showers clearing and skies clearing with some late sunshine for most areas. Cloud increasing overnight and further showers developing around the Aberdeen coast on Friday morning. Minimum Temperature 10 °C.

    Friday:

    Early showers might be quite heavy for a time around Aberdeen before clearing east, showers also popping up readily inland and may become slow moving in light winds. Maximum Temperature 18 °C.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Saturday and Sunday will see further showers, heavy at times, winds increasing on Sunday. Turning a little less showery on Monday with some settled conditions moving into the west.

    Today:

    Sunny spells, but showers in the north and west at first, some heavy and slow moving, then developing elsewhere through the day. Risk of isolated thunderstorms and hail, particularly in southern and central parts later.

    Tonight:

    Areas of heavy showers over central England moving into parts of northeast England, else clear intervals and a few showers in the south and west.

    Friday:

    Another day of sunshine and showers, although some more persistent rain possible in northeast Scotland in the morning, then over Northern Ireland later.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    An unsettled weekend of sunny spells and scattered showers, occasionally heavy, mainly in the north and west. More settled from Monday with any rain becoming confined to the northwest.

    Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

    UK Outlook for Monday 4 Jul 2022 to Wednesday 13 Jul 2022:

    Monday is likely to be rather cloudy with scattered showers for many, but most frequently in the north and west. Driest in the south with some sunny spells possible. Into the middle of next week more settled conditions are likely, with a good deal of dry weather, especially in the southwest. The risk of showers remains in the north, with the slight chance of some more persistent spells of rain for the far north. This generally settled regime persists for much of the remainder of the period, although occasional spells of more organised cloud and rain may continue to affect northern parts at times. Temperatures most likely near normal at first, but becoming rather warm through the period.

    UK Outlook for Thursday 14 Jul 2022 to Thursday 28 Jul 2022:

    The south is likely to see more settled conditions, while any unsettled weather will be confined mostly to the north, although may occasionally extend to the rest of the UK through the middle of July. The further we move through the period, the greater the chance of settled, dry and fine weather becoming more widespread. Temperatures are likely to trend near or above average initially and may become widely warm towards the end of the month, especially across the south.
