At the start of May changeable conditions are probable at first, with the southeast seeing the best of any drier, warmer weather, while the northwest will have more frequent spells of rain or showers. The forecast through the rest of this period is currently very uncertain, but through the first half of May it looks as though we could see a mixture of periods of more settled, fine and dry conditions interspersed with spells of showery and more changeable weather.
