UK Outlook for Tuesday 20 Apr 2021 to Thursday 29 Apr 2021:
Cloud with outbreaks of increasingly light and fragmenting rain will continue to move south-eastwards across England and Wales during Tuesday. Rain likely to decay before reaching the far southeast where conditions will remain largely dry. During the middle of next week high pressure will become dominant again, with conditions turning drier and brighter, though with the chance of a few showers. Thereafter, widely settled conditions look likely to persist with all areas mainly dry with sunny spells and a chance of morning fog patches. Likely turning warmer, but overnight frosts are still possible in rural areas though not as widespread as this week. There is still potential for rain and strong winds to occur at times towards the northwest with the possibility of these unsettled conditions briefly spreading southeast.

Fine and dry weather is expected to be more prevalent on the whole, with fair-weather cloud and plenty of sunny spells, although all areas are likely to see some showers or longer spells of rain at times. Temperatures are likely to be close to average for the time of year, with warmer spells possible at times.
