Dry throughout. Clear spells in the early hours, but some fog or low cloud in the glens, which may persist until late morning, perhaps longer towards the coast. Otherwise sunny. Largely clear skies overnight with some fog patches forming in the glens.

Generally excellent visibility, although some areas of poor visibility in any fog in the glens and on lower slopes in patchy cloud up to around 700m, most persistent towards the west coast.

Most likely dry. Some sunny spells, but cloud lowering onto hills, most extensive in the west, with a slight chance of rain. Freshening southwest winds. Freezing level 700-800m, but may rise near the summits.
Fri 13 Dec
Cloudy with hill fog, most extensive in the west. Likely to be mainly dry, but a chance of rain and summit snow, most likely later in the day. Freezing level 600-800m.
