EN3 quality controlled ocean data: Select version to download

Current version

The current version of the EN3 dataset is EN3_v2a. This will be updated each month with new data.

The above version does not have time varying XBT corrections implemented as yet. Use the links below to download data with some of the recently proposed XBT bias corrections applied. The first two also include bias corrections for mechanical bathythermograph (MBT) data.

Previous versions

Two older versions of the EN3 dataset are also available for download:

Download EN3_v1c - the previously available version of the dataset with XBT corrections as described in Ingleby and Huddleston (2007);
Download EN3_v1d_WijffelsXBTcorr - version with corrected metadata (compared to EN3_v1c) and to which the Wijffels et al. (2008) XBT depth corrections have been applied.
