Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 24 Aug 2022 to Friday 2 Sep 2022:

After an unsettled week, settled conditions are expected to spread over the UK during this period, bringing fine and dry weather to most places. Stronger winds and showers are likely in the north and northwest, and further showers are also possible across the southeast in the early part of the period. A northwest/southeast temperature split may also develop, where cooler air will characterise the north, with the south becoming very warm and perhaps feeling humid. By the end of this period fine, dry weather is likely to prevail for many, albeit with the odd shower again in the south and northwest. Light winds are likely with plenty of sunshine, and temperatures generally warm or locally very warm in the south.

UK Outlook for Saturday 3 Sep 2022 to Saturday 17 Sep 2022:

The generally settled weather at the end of August is likely to continue into the start of September, however conditions are expected to become more changeable after the first week of the month, producing average conditions for this time of year. These unsettled conditions are more likely in the north and west, with the southeast having a greater chance of seeing drier weather. Temperatures are likely to be warm, and to remain warm until the end of the period.
