Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 29 Jun 2022 to Friday 8 Jul 2022:

There is an east-west split in conditions through the end of June, as the west is more likely to experience showers, heavy at times, and the east more likely to remain drier with some sunshine, although there is a chance of some showers here. Winds are expected to be moderate or strong at times, especially in the northwest. The unsettled conditions are likely to extend over more of the north of the country through the later part of the period, perhaps bringing longer spells of rain to these areas. Southern areas likely staying drier, although with the risk of showers remaining. Temperatures are expected to be near normal, locally warm in parts of the east and southeast.

Further into July will perhaps be more settled for a time, although the north may continue to see some rain and showers. Temperatures throughout will be close to or a little above average but possibly becoming very warm or hot in the south near the end of the period.
