    Scattered showers will die out as winds continue to ease. Clear spells will lead to a widespread frost but temperatures will come up across the Hebrides as cloud increases. Minimum Temperature 1 °C.

    Sunday:

    Dry start but rain will spread east across all parts, perhaps turning to snow over inland Argyll. Turning windy again with westerly gales later, perhaps stormy across the Isles. Maximum Temperature 6 °C.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

    Cold on Monday with bright spells and wintry showers. Overnight rain then a few showers on Tuesday. Turning milder with outbreaks of rain on Wednesday. Often windy.

    Very windy Scotland and north England with rain in northwest moving south and easing. Brighter skies with some showers following. Cloudy and mild most of England and Wales with drizzle in west. Clearer skies arriving from north during afternoon.

    Tonight:

    Winds easing overnight with good clear spells developing leading to a widespread frost. Showers in the northeast slowly dying out.

    Sunday:

    Cold, bright start for many but becoming cloudier. Rain and strong winds developing in north with very strong winds for west and south Scotland and some snow for north Scotland.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

    Very windy start to Monday, with rain clearing to showers, these wintry in the north. Milder, though often blustery for Tuesday and Wednesday. Some persistent rain for the northwest.

    UK Outlook for Thursday 3 Feb 2022 to Saturday 12 Feb 2022:

    An unsettled start to this period with continued cloud and outbreaks of rain, mostly across the north and northwest. This rainfall may disperse to introduce areas of sunshine with showers, some of which may be wintry across the northwest. Strong winds are also set to continue into the latter part of next week where gales are likely and possibly severe in exposed areas. Initially temperatures feeling mild. A north/south divide is expected to continue through the rest of the period with settled conditions and milder temperatures prevailing in the south, whilst unsettled and wetter conditions with strong winds are seen across northern regions. Some, mostly short-lived, spells of colder temperatures are likely in the north and northwest, where some wintery showers could develop.

    UK Outlook for Saturday 12 Feb 2022 to Saturday 26 Feb 2022:

    The current north-south split to the weather is likely to continue from mid-February and through to the second half of the month. Northern areas, especially the northwest, are likely to see nearer average temperatures with more rain and strong winds interspersed with a few short-lived colder spells. Southern regions are likely to see warmer, drier and overall, more settled conditions.
