Winds are expected to reach violent storm force 11 within 50 miles to the southeast of the front and storm force 10 within 150 miles to the southeast of the front in Bailey until 080900UTC, Faeroes until 081300UTC and Norwegian Basin until 081700UTC, and storm force 10 within 100 miles to the southeast of the front north of 53 north in East Central Section until 081000UTC and Rockall until 081400UTC. Winds are expected to reach storm force 10 to violent storm force 11 across the east of Norwegian Basin until 090000UTC. At 080000UTC, low 67 north 25 west 969 losing its identity by 090000UTC. Winds are expected to reach storm force 10 north of 62 north and also between 57 north and 60 north in West Northern Section until 081600UTC and in East Northern Section from 081000UTC until 082100UTC, and violent storm force 11 north of 62 north in West Northern Section until 081000UTC

Severe or very severe icing expected close to ice edge with temperatures of ms09 to ms11. Occasional light or moderate icing expected elsewhere with temperatures of ms03 to ms06.

North Iceland

In north

Cyclonic 6 to gale 8, occasionally severe gale 9 at first in far northeast, becoming northerly or northwesterly 5 to 7. Rough or very rough, occasionally high at first in east. Snow showers. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor. Severe or very severe icing expected close to ice edge with temperatures of ms09 to ms12. Cyclonic 5 to 7, occasionally 4 in northeast and gale 8 in far west, becoming northwesterly 6 to gale 8 later. Severe or very severe icing expected close to ice edge with temperatures of ms09 to ms12. Norwegian Basin

Southerly or southwesterly severe gale 9 to violent storm 11, veering westerly 6 to gale 8 in west and also later in east, then becoming cyclonic, mainly westerly or southwesterly 7 to severe gale 9 later. High or very high, becoming high. Rain then wintry showers. Moderate or poor, occasionally very poor.
