East Central Section

Denmark Strait

Wintry showers, but sleet or snow near greenland. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor near greenland. Light icing until later in northeast, with temperatures around ms03.

North Iceland

Northerly or northwesterly 5 to 7, but gale 8 in northwest, and occasionally gale 8 at first in southeast, veering northeasterly 3 to 5 later in southwest. Rough or very rough, occasionally moderate later in far southwest. Occasional rain or showers in south, sleet or snow in north. Moderate or good, occasionally very poor in north. Light or moderate icing in northwest, with temperatures around ms03, becoming severe or very severe in far northwest, with temperatures around ms05.

Norwegian Basin

Westerly or southwesterly 4 to 6, occasionally 7 in east, veering westerly or northwesterly 6 to gale 8. Rough or very rough. Squally wintry showers. Good, occasionally poor.

Gales are expected in Shannon, Southeast Iceland, north Iceland and Norwegian Basin, with severe gales expected in all other areas except in Sole and West Central Section.
