Channel Islands - Strong wind warning

24 hour forecast: Westerly 4 to 6, perhaps 7 mid-channel, backing southwesterly around dawn, occasionally 7 mid-channel from mid-morning, increasing 5 to 7 Friday evening, perhaps locally gale 8 mid-channel later.
