A low in the North Sea will move away eastwards on Tuesday as high pressure builds west of the United Kingdom. A shallow low will move northeast over France on Tuesday before the ridge topples southeast over the United Kingdom on Wednesday.

Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney

24 hour forecast: North or northwest 3 or 4, occasionally 5 later. Slight or moderate, but smooth or slight in Moray Firth. Showers. Moderate or good, occasionally poor in west.

Rattray Head to Berwick upon Tweed
