General situation

A ridge of high pressure will topple southeastwards over the next 12 hours. Ahead of this, an area of low pressure moving northeast across France will continue to give some rain in southeast England this evening. By Tuesday high pressure will be established across the south, but Atlantic frontal systems will increasingly affect northwestern areas.

Channel Islands
