Carrying out research and development to improve the Earth System components of our climate models and applying these models to inform climate mitigation policies
Areas of work include:
- development of models for the land surface, terrestrial ecosystems, atmospheric aerosols and atmospheric chemistry;
- provision of climate projections with our Earth System model;
- understanding of interactions in the Earth System and the role of biogeochemical feedbacks in future climate projections.
