COP26 in Glasgow is getting underway with Met Office heavily involved in the conference.
The Met Office is co-hosting the science pavilion with IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) and WMO (World Meteorological Organisation), providing a focal point for climate change science through the event.
The science pavilion aim is ‘to provide authoritative and impartial science to inform COP26 negotiations’. You can view the full programme of events at the science pavilion here.

How to view science pavilion events
The Met Office will be live streaming events from the science pavilion on our Met Office Science and Services YouTube Channel. Follow our Met Office and Met Office Science Twitter feeds for updates.
Met Office announcements
Through the course of COP26 the Met Office will be making a series of announcements on new partnerships and scientific research. News releases will be published on our website and additional content will be posted on our social media channels.
