Scotland has a good history in the 6 Nations tournament - winning it 14 times and sharing the Grand Slam title another eight times. However, since Italy joined the competition in 2000, Scotland has yet to take the title. In the 2012 series Scotland came bottom of the table, losing all five fixtures, although with an improved performance in 2013 Scotland placed third. This year the Scottish team will surely be looking to further this success and move up the results table.
