T in the Park

Rocking out at a festival

This year will be the 21st T in the Park, held at Balado, near Kinross in Scotland.

85,000 music fans will be travelling to this year's T in the Park, with plans to see some of the top acts on the bill at this year's festival, including:

  • Biffy Clyro
  • Calvin Harris
  • Arctic Monkeys
  • Elbow
  • Disclosure
  • Example
  • Ben Howard
  • Pixies

More than 200 artists will perform over the three day festival on one of 11 stages at T in the Park this July. Pop, rock, dance and folk acts will have the 85,000 strong crowd with their hands in the air rocking out to some of the UK's top music acts.

This year music will start earlier and finish later than every before, with music on Friday starting at lunchtime and continuing through until 1.00 instead of midnight as it had in previous years.

Forecast

11-13 July - Check the Kinross weather forecast before packing your suncream or wellies for T in the Park.

Alongside the top international music acts the festival will provide a wealth of alternative entertainment including:

  • A fairground
  • Cabaret Club
  • The Healthy T area

One of the other highlights of the festival will be fancy dress Friday. Last year saw 'Heroes and Villains' spread across the campsite as festival goers dressed up on the first day of the festival. Fancy dress Friday adds to the party atmosphere experienced at Scotland's largest music festival.

Check the Kinross weather forecast before packing for this year's T in the Park.

Organisers and festival-goers alike will be looking for a dry period prior to the event to ensure the site is not too muddy. Festival-goers will then be looking for a warm and dry weekend, to make the most of T in the Park and reduce the need for wellies and waterproofs.
