Regional forecast for Yorkshire & Humber

Mostly dry, sunny periods tomorrow but windy at times.

This Evening and Tonight:

Any isolated light showers at first this evening should die away to leave a dry night with variable cloud. The southeasterly breeze will freshen, with some strong gusts developing along the coast by daybreak. Minimum Temperature 6 °C.

Sunday:

Mostly dry with variable cloud and sunny periods. Fresh to strong east to southeast winds will keep coastal areas cooler, but feeling pleasant enough inland in sunshine. Maximum Temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Monday, morning rain weakening with winds moderating. Tuesday and Wednesday, mostly dry with sunny periods, some morning mist and low cloud likely. Cooling northeast winds near coasts, warmer inland.

This Evening and Tonight:

A mostly dry night with some clear spells. The south-easterly winds will increase overnight and most places will be milder than last night. Outbreaks of rain are likely in the far southwest by morning.

Sunday:

Windy for all tomorrow. The rain in the southwest will gradually spread into Wales and southern England, but staying dry with sunny spells for central, northern and eastern areas.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Bank Holiday Monday will be unsettled for some southern areas, with heavy showers. Scotland and Northern Ireland likely staying dry with sunshine. Tuesday and Wednesday will be drier and brighter.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Thursday 4 May 2017 to Saturday 13 May 2017:

It will be largely fine and dry on Thursday and Friday, with bright or sunny spells likely. A few light showers are possible in the south with temperatures near average, but feeling cooler along the east coast. Then from next weekend onwards we are likely to see high pressure dominate. Easterly winds will develop, with largely dry and settled weather prevailing, and increasing amounts of sunshine. The settled weather is also likely to bring rather warm temperatures, especially during the sunnier interludes. It will feel cooler along eastern coasts however, and there will be the risk of sea fog at times here too. Some isolated showers may also be possible, mainly along the east coast. More unsettled showery conditions are also possible across the southwest later, for a time.

UK Outlook for Sunday 14 May 2017 to Sunday 28 May 2017:

Heading into the middle of May, continued dry and settled weather remains most probable. There may however be some occasional wetter interludes though, with the south most likely to see these. Temperatures are likely to remain above average for the time of year, and they will possibly become very warm at times. It will also likely continue to be drier than average.
