Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Friday 1 May 2015 to Sunday 10 May 2015:

Friday 1st May is likely to be mainly settled, but cool. Most places should remain dry with some sunny spells, though a few showers are possible, mainly in the north and east. Similar conditions will probably prevail over north and eastern parts through Saturday, but it will turn more unsettled again in the south and west with thicker cloud and some outbreaks of rain developing. These will probably move NE to affect all parts by Bank Holiday Monday. The rest of the period is expected to remain unsettled, with the wettest and windiest conditions being in the north and west, and the best of the drier and brighter spells in the southeast. Temperatures through the period are likely to be below average with local night frosts, especially in the north.

UK Outlook for Monday 11 May 2015 to Monday 25 May 2015:

Changeable and at times unsettled conditions are most likely to persist for much of this period, though it may turn less unsettled from around mid-May onwards. These conditions are fairly typical for the time of year, with most areas experiencing spells of fine and bright weather interspersed with more changeable conditions. The most unsettled conditions are more probable across central and northern areas, with transient spells of more settled weather more likely in the in the south and southeast, especially later on in the month. Daytime temperatures are likely to be near or little below average, especially during any unsettled spells. As is common for the time of year, spells of settled weather are likely to be accompanied by chilly evenings with isolated overnight frost in rural areas.
