Current activities

Jessica is a member of the mesoscale model development and diagnostics team, whose responsibilities include developing, maintaining and diagnosing problems of limited area configurations of the Unified Model.  Jessica has been upgrading and maintaining one such configuration over Germany.

Jessica has also been working on rerunning a series of nested NWP models to look at the winds over the United Kingdom for use with wind resources.

Career background

Jessica joined the Mesoscale Model Development Team at the Met Office in 2009 after graduating with an MMath in Mathematics from the  University of Exeter in the same year.
