UK Outlook for Friday 26 Mar 2010 to Sunday 4 Apr 2010:

Remaining unsettled for the end of March and the beginning of April, with most places seeing showers or longer periods of rain. Some drier intervals are also expected too, especially in the south after the weekend. Any showers and rain could turn heavy at times and there is a risk of snow, mainly over the high ground of Scotland but possibly extending somewhat further south towards the start of April. The wind will also be a feature for some areas, with gales possible at times in exposed northern and western coastal areas. Temperatures may be a little above average in the south at first, otherwise near normal, then dipping to slightly below normal later in the period, with a risk of frost, especially in the north.
