Please note that we will not activate registered accounts where individuals attempt to carry out the registration process from countries which are subject to Foreign and Commonwealth Office sanctions and restrictions. An up-to-date list of the restricted countries is available online.
Additional terms and conditions may apply for certain content and services within this registered area which you will be told about when you attempt to access them for the first time.
You must provide accurate details when you register on this part of the Site and let us know if your details change.
If you breach these terms or the terms of any applicable licence or Fair Use Policy, we may terminate that licence and/or terminate or restrict your access to the whole or any part of the content or services on the Site, with immediate effect. We may also exercise these rights on National Security grounds.
We have obligations under law, including the Freedom of Information legislation, to disclose information including confidential information held by us. We will always endeavour to consult with you before making a decision to disclose confidential information held by us.
The Met Office shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions to obtain timely notice of any such changes, as they are binding on you.
