1. Display of OPMET data See comments   The arrival of SPECIs cannot currently be flagged to users.All other requirements fully met.
2. GRIB decoder and display package See comments   GRIB decoder and visualisation package is available, with following minor caveats:
  • Some further minor visualisation work required to bring the GRIB encoded products in-line with the equivalent T4 charts.
  • Ability to process Washington GRIB data needs to be demonstrated.
3. BUFR decoder and display package N   BUFR decoder and visualisation package is available but does not currently produce WAFS SIGWX charts to a compliant ICAO standard.
4. Display and ability to prompt users of the arrival of chart amendments N   This functionality soon to be added. 
5. Display and ability to prompt users of the arrival of SADIS administrative messages Y    
6. Display of tropical cyclone advisory statements Y    
7. Display of volcanic ash advisory statements Y    
8. Display of volcanic ash trajectory/dispersion charts N   Functionality to be added.
9. Display bulletin contents from the WMO header N   No intention to make this functionality available because MFI customers prefer to retrieve data using more intuitive processes.
