Although it is currently too early to provide a detailed forecast for the day itself, the Met Office has taken a look back at historical data for the 29 April and previous Royal Wedding days.

Spring time can bring a variety of weather types to the UK. These can range from the warm and sunny to the cool, dull and wet. In 1994 London saw temperatures reach 23.4 °C, but in 2004 temperatures struggled to reach 10 °C.

With celebrations taking place across the country, and thousands of people expected to line the streets of London, everyone wants to know what the weather will be like on the day.

The Met Office provides a general outlook out to 30 days and will provide more detailed forecasts up to 5 days before on our Royal Wedding forecast page.
