Mostly Weather Episode 15 - A quick spin round the carbon cycle

Mostly Weather logo

Join us for a quick spin around the carbon cycle in this month's Mostly Weather podcast

In today’s episode climate modeller Chris Jones joins the regular podcast team to take us on a tour of the carbon cycle.

We hear how carbon travels round the Earth system, where it comes from, and how it affects the climate and weather we experience. We also hear about Chris’ new paper on “negative emissions” – how drawing down carbon from the atmosphere might help us combat climate change, and how the carbon cycle might go from being a help, to being a hindrance.
