Legacy UK climate series
Access to the previous version of UK climate data
The Met Office national climate series are constructed from the HadUK-Grid dataset. This dataset and these series are updated annually as a new release.
This page provides a reference to the legacy versions of the climate series for users who may wish to compare or analyse the changes that have resulted.
The legacy data can be accessed from the current data access page by selecting the data you require, then modify the word 'datasets' in the url. This depends on the version required. Legacy versions are:
- 'datasets_5km' (5km resolution version)
- 'datasets_v1.0.2.1' (2020 release)
- 'datasets_v1.0.3.0' (2021 release)
- 'datasets_v1.1.0.0' (2022 release)
