Coding and technology workshop for 9 – 12 year olds at the Met Office on Saturday 17th November 2018.

Experience the real-world application of coding through programming workshops and technology demonstrations.

Things you need to know

Carousel of Code runs from 10am – 3pm, but you should aim to arrive from 9.30am to allow for admission to the site.

All transport arrangements to and from the Met Office HQ will need to be made, and paid for, by participants. Bike and vehicle parking will be available at the Met Office.

All attendees should bring a packed lunch.  

Children must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 years or over). One adult can accompany up to a maximum of six young people, aged between 9 and 12 years old. The accompanying adult is responsible for the children they bring and must stay with them at all times.

In order to meet our security requirements details of all adults attending this event are required in advance; therefore, you must notify us of any changes you wish to make no later than 72 hours prior to your arrival. Those without a confirmed place in their name will be refused entry.

On the day, you must bring your confirmation email with you, along with some form of photographic identification (e.g. Passport, Driving License) for those aged 18 or over.

Please be aware that we do not allow filming, recording or photography within the Met Office building at any time.
