Aeronautical Meteorological Observing Refresher (AMO Refresher)

Aim: To update the observing skills of qualified aeronautical meteorological observers.  Delegates often complete the AMO Focal Point alongside the AMO Refresher).

Course length: Two days.

Price: £1060 per person (VAT exempt)

Location: Courses are held in the Met Office College facilities at our Exeter headquarters.

On completion of this course you will be able to:

• produce Meteorological Aerodrome Reports (METARs);using the most up to date regulations;
• understand the thinking behind recent developments in observing and METAR reporting and their relevance to flight safety;
• provide evidence that your theoretical knowledge and practical observing skills are current.
