Open to everyone, we hold one of the country's most comprehensive collections on meteorology.
We are open Tuesday to Thursday by appointment only so please get in touch with us at least 24 hours prior to your visit so that we can book you in.
Library (Met Office HQ): Tues to Thurs 10:00-16:30
Archive (Great Moor House): Tues to Thurs 10:00-17:00

We have established a partnership with Google Arts and Culture. The new online hub brings to life highlights from the National Meteorological Archive alongside the current work of the Met Office in a series of digital stories inviting audiences to explore the science, history and impact of meteorology.
