Helen is our Data Manager, she is responsible for ensuring that meterological data is available to create our products and services for industry customers.

Current activities
Helen works across a variety of industry sectors.
She plays a key role within a multidisciplinary transformational team, with responsibilities including strategic planning, policy setting, architectural design, project development and data management.
She has helped to develop the Met Office’s corporate data strategy.
Career background
Helen is a geography graduate and fellow of the Royal Geographical Society with over 20 years of experience working in the public and private sector.
She joined the Met Office in 2012 as a technical account manager for the Transport team, specialising in the road and rail sectors.
Helen was promoted to her current role in 2016.
