The Met Office are experts in measuring and recording meteorological and environmental information.
The geospatial information Met Office collect and collate is used to meet the wider requirements of inputting into numerical models which provide forecasts for a few hours to a week or more ahead. This information informs many impactful decisions within the military community on strategic, tactical and operational levels.
