We are a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) designated provider of meteorological services, with a variety of different services that span across the sector.
We provide 24/7 meteorological services for the aviation industry, including airlines, airports, ATC, BizJets, GA, offshore helicopters, and emergency services. Our experts, based at NATS Swanwick, deliver real-time consultancy and forecasts, such as TAFs, SIGMETs, and F215s, accessible via pre-flight planning systems and the Met Office briefing service. Additionally, we provide resources to help the industry utilise these forecasts effectively.

New Services from January 2026
The Met Office Aeronautical Visualisation Service (MAVIS®) is a new unified platform that will be replacing our current aviation weather services. MAVIS is currently in beta testing and is operational. For information on how to sign up, please visit the MAVIS webpage.
