We provide 24/7 meteorological services for the aviation industry, including airlines, airports, ATC, BizJets, GA, offshore helicopters, and emergency services. Our experts, based at NATS Swanwick, deliver real-time consultancy and forecasts, such as TAFs, SIGMETs, and F215s, accessible via pre-flight planning systems and the Met Office briefing service. Additionally, we provide resources to help the industry utilise these forecasts effectively.

Met Office Aeronautical Visualisation Service
The Met Office Aeronautical Visualisation Service (MAVIS®) is a unified platform that replaces OpenRunway, Aviation Briefing Service and Helibrief. Network Weather Resilience will retire in Summer 2026.
PLEASE NOTE: MAVIS is in beta which means it is operational and ready to use whilst we continue to improve and expand the service based on user feedback.
