CHG0104222 - Upgrade Lightning Observations with LEELA detection system output - 06 Sept 2023

No action required. 

Network Weather Resilience will start visualising lightnng data from the Met Office Next-Generation Lightning Detection System "LEELA" from 1000Z on 06 September 2023. This could show an increase in the number of strikes being detected and displayed. No software changes nor outages are expected as a result of this improvement being implemented.
