Ice is expected to form from late Thursday afternoon with temperatures across the road network likely to fall below freezing, particularly across parts of SW Scotland. Elsewhere within the warning area icy stretches are likely depending on the distribution of cloud breaks. A mixture of rain, sleet and snow showers will continue through these areas into Friday morning, the snow mainly over SW Scotland and higher ground where some small accumulations are possible. The public should be aware of difficult driving conditions with potential disruption to travel.
