Some good spells of early evening sunshine, but cloud soon increases from the west to give a dry but cloudy night. Light winds, but milder than previous nights. Minimum temperature 2 °C.


A dry day. Rather cloudy, but some good spells of sunshine, particularly in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

A cloudier few days. Outbreaks of rain at times, most persistent on Monday. Rain clears on Tuesday to drier brighter conditions.


UK long range weather forecast

Cloud with outbreaks of increasingly light and fragmenting rain will continue to move south-eastwards across England and Wales during Tuesday. Rain likely to decay before reaching the far southeast where conditions will remain largely dry. During the middle of next week high pressure will become dominant again, with conditions turning drier and brighter, though with the chance of a few showers. Thereafter, widely settled conditions look likely to persist with all areas mainly dry with sunny spells and a chance of morning fog patches. Likely turning warmer, but overnight frosts are still possible in rural areas though not as widespread as this week. There is still potential for rain and strong winds to occur at times towards the northwest with the possibility of these unsettled conditions briefly spreading southeast.


Mixed weather patterns, typical of spring are most likely through the end of April and into May. Overall, fine and dry weather is expected to be most dominant, with fair-weather cloud and plenty of sunny spells. However, all areas are likely to see some showers or perhaps some longer spells of rain at times. Temperatures are likely to be close to average for the time of year, with the possibility of warmer spells at times.
