Windy with blustery showers, these more frequent across north and western areas. Some bright or sunny intervals too. Strong west to northwesterly, occasionally gale along coasts. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Wednesday starts showery and windy, before turning largely dry and bright with easing winds by afternoon. Thursday and Friday occasionally windy with some rain and showers.

Some clear and sunny spells are possible to start, followed by a band of rain, locally heavy, approaching the southeast. Winds generally moderate, but locally strong in the north. Further into the period, more unsettled conditions are likely in the north and northwest, where longer spells of rain and strong winds are expected. The south is likely to see some drier spells, although some light rain or drizzle remain possible. Some overnight fog patches are possible in the south under clear skies. Winds varying from strong in the northwest to light in the southeast. Temperatures near normal or mild.
