A sunny morning, before cloud gradually builds. This will lead into a mostly dry afternoon with sunny intervals. Feeling warmer than Saturday with lighter winds. Cloudier overnight. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Hazy sunshine Monday, staying mainly dry. Windy Tuesday with cloud and rain spilling eastwards. Strong winds Wednesday, with rain, locally heavy. Rain clearing later, showers following. Mild or very mild.

A north/south split in weather conditions is likely over the latter part of next week, with rain and showers affecting the north, while the south holds on to drier weather. It may be windy at times, especially across the north and northwest, where gales are possible. Temperatures close to normal in the north and feeling rather mild in the south. Unsettled weather continues for many into the following week, with showers in northern areas likely to spread southwards. High pressure may develop across the UK throughout the rest of the period, with occasional frontal systems bringing some periods of rain. However, towards the end of the period, deep lower pressure is expected. Temperatures generally returning to above normal, however, cooler nights could make way for potential mist and fog.
