Collaboration with Disney and Pixar

The latest animated film from Pixar takes place in Element City, where Fire, Water, Earth and Air residents live together and react in surprising ways; something the Met Office is an expert in. 

The interaction of the elements plays a part in our weather forecasts, so the characters from Elemental make the perfect messengers for some advice on how to enjoy the weather safely this summer.

As part of the campaign, we’ve collaborated with Disney and Pixar on creating a suite of multimedia content designed to help young people understand ways the weather can impact them and what they can do about it. 

Central to this is a downloadable poster with some tips on handling key weather conditions such as heat, wind, rain and pollen.
