Strong to gale westerly winds bringing blustery showers, these more frequent across western and northern areas. Southeast mainly dry. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Cloudy on Wednesday with some rain. Mainly dry and cloudy on Thursday and Friday, perhaps a little light rain on Friday.

Some clear and sunny spells are possible to start, followed by a band of rain, locally heavy, approaching the southeast. Winds generally moderate, but locally strong in the north. The south is likely to see some drier spells, although some light rain or drizzle remain possible. Some overnight fog patches are possible in the south under clear skies.
