Cloud and patchy rain clearing east in the morning, followed by generally dry, breezy conditions with sunny spells. Scattered blustery showers feeding into the Peak District later, wintry across summits. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Wednesday, rather windy with sunny spells and some showers. Winds easing later. Patchy rain and drizzle moving east Thursday, milder. Friday, variable cloud and probably mostly dry. Mild, breezy.
